October 2021

Welcome to our October Newsletter

Welcome to the October edition of Bidding Insights. It’s been a busy year for procurement and bidding so far, with many buying organisations playing catch-up, following the understandable disruption in 2020 with the effects of the Covid pandemic and Brexit impacting buying cycles, budgets, new contracts and renewals coming to the market.

Autumn is traditionally a very busy season for bidding, as buyers look to get key contracts procured before the end of the calendar year, so we’re not anticipating any slow-down in activity over the coming months. Our interview with Josh Quigley, the Guinness World Record endurance cyclist, is particularly timely then, as Josh shares some of his insights in to building resilience.

We also have articles covering the ‘30 Cs of a Bidding Professional’, an interview with Richard Tinto sharing his insights on the Architecture sector in the 2020s and some more information on our exciting new online tender training programme, Ultimate Tender Coach.

Wishing you all a very happy Autumn season - I hope you can spend some time enjoying the transitional season outdoors with friends, family and loved ones, before we move in to the colder winter months!

Meantime, enjoy the newsletter and please do let us know if there are any specific topics or issues you would like us to cover in future editions – your feedback is always welcome and appreciated.

Best wishes
